When I did my clinicals at Hillcrest Medical Center during nursing school, I was awestruck with the nurses on the floor; they never complained about their job. They took excellent care of their patients, and it excited me. I knew I wanted to be a part of that tremendous team and have worked here ever since — 10 wonderful years.
At Hillcrest Medical Center, my co-workers feel like my family. It’s a down-to-earth and friendly atmosphere. I work with a wonderful group of nurses who have excellent integrity and a good work ethic. We work in one of the happiest places in the hospital, and I love the fact that we get to be a part of one of the most exciting times in a person’s life.
I’m most proud of helping bring new life into the world. At the end of the day, someone you’ve helped — maybe a relative of a patient — is so grateful for the small things you do for them. That brings me a lot of joy.
